Change Wars: Why Fighting Resistance is the Wrong Battle and What you Should Do Instead

In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, resistance to change can hinder progress and stifle innovation. Leaders and teams often struggle with the pushback that accompanies transformation efforts, making it critical to understand and address the root causes of resistance. But what if the real problem isn’t the people resisting—it’s how we see them?

This engaging and thought-provoking session will take attendees on a journey through shifting change resistance from an obstacle to an opportunity. Highlighting key insights from over 10 years of helping manufacturing teams through transformation, I will share compelling real-world examples and the transFORM framework listeners can begin using today!

By the end of this session, attendees will walk away equipped with:

  • Why people resist change and how fear, uncertainty, and past experiences shape responses.
  • How the way we see others influences their willingness to change.
  • The role of change leadership in shifting perspectives to foster trust, engagement, and collaboration.
  • The transFORM Framework: A science-backed approach to rethinking resistance, reframing reactions, and rebuilding relationships.

This session will be highly interactive, featuring storytelling, humor, and audience participation—including a quick “Find Your Toes” mindfulness activity—to ensure an engaging and impactful experience.
