During this workshop, attendees will learn the basics of OEE (measuring the 6 major losses), see real life examples (pictures, data from the shop floor), discuss categories of losses, and how to approach each loss and eliminate/minimize them. In order to ensure learning, attendees will work with actual case studies, calculate OEE%, categorize losses, & develop an improvement plans.
Attendees will come away from this presentation with a better understanding of the 6 major losses used to calculate OEE, how they are used to create an improvement plan and how they can apply these to real-world opportunities.
About John Perrotti
John is a Vice President of the Manufacturing Solutions group at Fuss & O’Neill. He is an expert in machine guarding and developing unique machine guarding solutions. He has performed machine hazard risk analysis utilizing lean concepts. He is an expert in electrical safety – NFPA 70E compliance, and Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures.
