Dr. Matthew R. Romoser is the Founder of Systems Scholar LLC, established in 2017, and a specialist in human-centered process improvement with over 26 years of experience spanning research, academia, and applied consulting.
His work brings together Lean Six Sigma, Human Factors, and Work Analysis in a way that reflects how work actually happens on the ground. Rather than treating Human Factors as a separate discipline, he positions it as a core skill within Lean – essential for building processes that are reliable, usable, and sustainable.
In his academic career, Dr. Romoser has guided more than 200 students and professionals to achieve Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certifications, with a strong emphasis on applied learning and real-world problem solving
